As clinical trials broaden our understanding of retinal diseases, how do we apply this knowledge to the care of each individual patient? The options for treatment of retinal diseases such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein occlusions and retinal detachments are evolving at a rapid pace. There are currently several treatment options available to tackle these diseases, and the choice and timing of which treatment to use can be confusing. This course aims to update retina specialists and practicing ophthalmologists about the current state-of-the-art treatment options available for the management of retinal diseases. (Please see Course Highlights for information on presenting an interesting case.)
