Mayo Clinic ophthalmology and optometry specialists have expertise in managing all eye problems, including cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, corneal and eye surface disease, and crossed eyes.
Our faculty has designed a course in optometry that offers a balanced assessment of clinically relevant advances in eye care. The course features lectures and interactive discussions with participating optometrists, and covers a variety of topics in contemporary eye care, including amblyopia and strabismus, ocular tumors, challenging case presentations, contact lens-related infections, vision and corneal changes after surgery, tumors of the eyelid, and national standards for ophthalmic care.
