Mayo Clinic nutrition continuing medical education curriculum is designed for physicians, dietitians, nurses and pharmacists and highlights common and challenging nutrition issues encountered in ambulatory and hospital settings.
Ambulatory nutrition topics include advances in the comprehensive management of obesity, nutrition supplements, and the role of nutrition and physical activity in disease prevention and management. Hospital topics include commonly encountered electrolyte issues, metabolic management, trace element evaluation and collaboration on nutrition screening for hospitalized patients.
The faculty is selected from Mayo Clinic for their expertise, knowledge and clinical acumen. Courses span the spectrum of nutrition through lectures, interactive case studies and panel discussions.
