Learning Objectives
Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:
- Evaluate reading skills of the routine EEG recognizing potentially confounding normal variants, artifacts and normal waveforms versus epileptiform activity.
- Identify which tests are pertinent to specific clinical problems in EMG.
- Develop an approach to the use of the EMU (epilepsy monitoring unit).
- Identify common treatments using botulinumtoxin in neurophysiology.
