Course Description
This CME course covers topics related to the diagnosis and management of Marfan Syndrome and related disorders and will bring physicians and patients together to learn from each other. This course will help physicians identify symptoms of this commonly unrecognized condition. Awareness of the condition by primary care professionals as well as specialists facilitates early recognition and follow-up of cardiac involvement that is critical to permit early surgical intervention prolonging survival.
Sessions I and II will be open to the 25th National Marfan Foundation Annual Conference attendees as well as CME attendees and will include both patients and physicians. Session III is open only to CME attendees.
