Clinical Reviews and Primary Care Update - 2010

Clinical Reviews and Primary Care Update consists of lectures, discussions, and workshops on problems of general interest in various areas of medicine, surgery, and pediatrics. Medical staff from Mayo Clinic and Nemours Children’s Clinic, Jacksonville, Florida, provide reviews and updates in the areas of cardiology, dermatology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, infectious diseases, internal medicine, neurology, women’s health, pediatrics, pulmonology, and sports medicine. An AUDIENCE RESPONSE SYSTEM will be utilized. The electronic syllabus will be available to attendees in 2 forms: (1) online prior to and six months after the meeting and (2) onsite on a flash drive. Participants will be notified as soon as syllabus materials are available online, enabling them to print specific presentations prior to the meeting. Attendees are encouraged to bring their laptops to the meeting to view the syllabus on the flash drive.

Coastal view hotel rooms have been reserved for attendees and their guests at the group rate of $249 per night plus applicable taxes for single, double, triple or quad occupancy. In order to receive the special rate, reservations must be made before the room block is filled or before the expiration date of May 6, 2010, whichever comes first. The resort has extended the group rate three days before the meeting and three days after the meeting based on availability. Check in time is after 3:00 PM and check out time is before 12:00 PM. Rooms are limited so we encourage early booking. Lodging arrangements are the sole responsibility of the individual registrant. All parking at the resort is provided by valet service. Overnight parking at the resort is $12 per night. Day guest parking is complimentary.
TRAVEL
Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) is located 35 minutes from The Ritz Carlton at Amelia Island. Transportation from the airport to the resort is available by calling Dana’s Limousine at 904-744-3333. Taxis and rental cars are readily available at the airport as well.
