With a decrease in residency training hours and the planned shift of physician training to the outpatient setting, Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants are being asked to fill the gap of caring for the vastly growing hospitalized population. This annual conference has an emphasis on providing the most current and evidence-based guidelines and treatment pathways necessary to optimally care for hospitalized patients. This course continues to be an avenue for those NP/PAs caring for hospitalized patients to obtain additional training. The Hospital Medicine for NP/PA course began in 2009 and has noted steady attendance growth yearly with attendance approaching 300 participants last year. The course has become an excellent intra-clinic, regional, and national training supplement and excellent networking venue for those NPs/PAs working in the hospital.

• When you cancel registration for this course 14 days or more before the course start date, you will receive a full refund (minus a $75 administrative fee). The cancellation must be received in writing. No refunds are granted less than 14 days before the course start date.
