An Overview of Perioperative Medicine is intended to update general internists, internist-sub specialists, family medicine physicians, anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other health care providers on perioperative assessment and management. This course will focus on the practical, clinical side of preoperative assessment and postoperative management. The course will feature a collaborative faculty of multi-specialty experts in perioperative medicine from both Mayo Clinic and Jefferson Medical College.
