In response to requests from previous attendees, the 2012 Mayo Clinic Alumni Association International Scientific Program addresses a variety of relevant topics in medical education, research and clinical practice. The format balances topics of general and medical specialty interest and physician leadership with particular attention to management systems for patient safety, quality, and physician development through lecture and an interactive speaker panel. Faculty members are available during the breaks to answer questions and discuss topics with course participants.
