This two-day program focuses on the role of new therapies in treating patients with hematologic malignancies and place the evolving role of blood and marrow transplantation (BMT) in the appropriate context of these new therapies. An overview of the role of BMT in many of the hematologic malignancies is discussed, as well as an update on new methodologies related to BMT and how to best provide long-term follow-up for these patients. A discussion of the evolving field of regenerative medicine is included.
