This is it! Mayo Clinic's Gastroenterogy & Hepatology 2010 will be held February 22 - 26, 2010. Course Directors at our three Mayo Clinic campuses have joined efforts to host this premier Winter course.
Gastroenterology and Hepatology 2010 is designed to update physicians practicing in gastroenterology and hepatology on new approaches to the diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal and liver diseases. Presentations will include general hepatology, motility and nutrition, inflammatory bowel disease, endoscopy, new technologies, pancreatic cancer, and pancreatic cysts and fluid collections.
Course faculty are selected not only for their medical expertise, but because they are thoughtful and conscientious educators who will focus presentations on clinical applications in daily practice.
Optional afternoon educational activities are planned to optimize your time away from your busy practice. Join faculty at one of the Meet the Professor luncheons, work toward completion of an American Board of Internal Medicine medical knowledge module in gastroenterology, or learn new techniques from expert endoscopists using state-of-the-art technology at the Hands-On Endoscopy Workshop held at Mayo Clinic's Center for Procedural Innovation.

7th ANNUAL 2010 EUS Course
August 4 - 7, 2010
This course is designed to provide endsonographers, gastroenterologists, and other health care providers at all levels of experience a comprehensive multidisciplinary review of endoscopic ultrasound. Nationally renowned experts from varying fields, including Gastroenterology, Pancreatology, Hepatology, Surgery (thoracic, abdominal, colorectal), Oncology, Pulmonology, Radiology and Endosonography, will discuss the impact and role of EUS in their practice. A moderator will oversee live case demonstrations and use this opportunity for lively exchange between the faculty and course particpants. A video forum and "EUS Jeopardy Quiz" will be presented with round table discussion. Attendees will also have the opportunity for an "in-The-Room" experience that will facilitate interaciton with the faculty and enhance the overall edeucational experience. Finally, during a hands-on animal lab, the faculty will work closely with attendees to emphasize technical aspects of performing EUS and demonstrate the use of standard equipment and new devices

Mayo Clinic Gastroenterology and Hepatology Board Review
August 26 - 29, 2010
This Board Review is designed to simulate board examinations in gastroenterology. The program will include relevant topics such as pathology, endoscopy, radiology and nutrition.
