This course is designed to provide endosonographers, gastroenterologists, and other health care providers at all levels of experience a comprehensive multidisciplinary review of endoscopic ultrasound. Nationally renowned experts from varying fields, including Gastroenterology, Pancreatology, Hepatology, Surgery (thoracic, abdominal, colorectal), Oncology, Pulmonology, Radiology and Endosonography discuss the impact and role of EUS in their practice. A moderator oversees live case demonstrations and uses this opportunity for lively exchange between the faculty and course participants. A video forum and "EUS Jeopardy Quiz" is presented with round table discussion. Attendees also have the opportunity for an "in-The-Room" experience that facilitates interaction with the faculty and enhances the overall educational experience. Finally, during a hands-on animal lab, the faculty works closely with attendees to emphasize technical aspects of performing EUS and demonstrate the use of standard equipment and new devices.
