If you're unable to attend the onsite symposium, you can participate virtually through Second Life, an online virtual world in which people are represented by characters (avatars) that interact with each other and the environment of the virtual world. This symposium is being offered in Second Life and will feature the same leading experts who are presenting at the onsite symposium in real time. This course offers presentations and discussions of topics in gastroenterology and hepatology, with a focus on cutting-edge information that has direct clinical impact. The faculty examine new data, procedures and techniques, and guide attendees in determining the role of these applications in their practice. Note the Second Life virtual course does not include the afternoon breakout sessions, ACG module, or the hands on Endoscopy lab.
