Course Description

This two and one-half day course features lectures with national and international experts, 6 hours of live endoscopies broadcast via satellite, and a hands-on workshop to practice skills to improve performance of advanced therapeutic endoscopic procedures such as advanced imaging methods, endoscopic mucosal resection and double balloon enteroscopy. Attendees will be able to evaluate different approaches to detection and endoscopic therapy of dysplasia in Barrett’s esophagus and ulcerative colitis; set up program for quality improvement and monitoring; and describe future trends in endoscopic practice and technology. Meet-the-Professor sessions will give practical “How to do it” tips on EMR, EUS, ERCP, DBE, NOTES, NBI/AFT, Confocal and Ablation.  The American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) has endorsed this course.

Intended Audience

This course is designed for the GI endoscopist, GI nurse and other GI clinicans wishing to update their skills on theory and practice of endoscopy in order to improve patient care.
