Learning Objectives

Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:

  • Review the importance of comprehensive echocardiographic evaluation, including 3-D, Doppler and strain
  • Demonstrate the role of echocardiography in interventional valve procedures
  • Examine the role of echocardiography in low-gradient, low-output aortic stenosis, including those with normal ejection fraction
  • Review the role of echocardiography in guiding transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR)
  • Review the role of strain imaging in valvular heart disease
