Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:

• Demonstrate the application of Doppler principles to assessing hemodynamics

• Assess the role of echocardiography in demonstrating causes of right ventricular enlargement
• Recognize the role of echocardiography evaluating patients with pulmonary hypertension
• Demonstrate the role of echocardiography in interventional valve procedures
• Define advantages of stress echocardiography and use of contrast in evaluation of patient with dyspnea
• Apply new echocardiographic principles in assessment of ventricular function
• Identify echocardiographic and pathological features of common cardiac masses
