Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:
- Demonstrate the application of Doppler principles to assessing hemodynamics
- Assess the role of echocardiography in demonstrating causes of right ventricular enlargement
- Recognize the role of echocardiography evaluating patients with pulmonary hypertension
- Demonstrate the role of echocardiography in interventional valve procedures
- Define advantages of stress echocardiography and use of contrast in evaluation of patient with dyspnea
- Apply new echocardiographic principles in assessment of ventricular function
- Identify echocardiographic and pathological features of common cardiac masses
