This course reviews the technical issues of echocardiography as well as CT, MRI, PET, and nuclear imaging as they pertain to cardiovascular disorders. An expert faculty discusses the relevant advances in techniques and the limitation of each modality.
Lectures provide a diagnosis, prognosis and management of common cardiovascular diseases. A clinical case-based format is used to highlight dilemmas and key management strategies.
Topics include multiple imaging modalities and clinical issues in cardiovascular diseases. Appropriateness criteria is emphasized throughout the individual audience/panel discussions. An Audience Response System is used for each case and also for pre-test and post-test evaluations.
