The material presented at this conference is specifically designed to educate cardiology care providers, providing them with the most up-to-date information regarding multimodality imaging for the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease. This course will fulfill these elements by: 1. reviewing the basic technical issues of echocardiography as well as CT, MRI, and nuclear imaging, 2. discussing relevant advances in techniques and limitations of each modality, and 3. providing a comprehensive update of the clinical uses of the techniques in the diagnosis and prognosis of common cardiovascular diseases in a clinical case based format.
