Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:

• Recognize and appropriately evaluate patients with suspected HFpEF;
• Identify normal and abnormal ventricular function using resting and exercise hemodynamic variables;
• Differentiate constrictive pericarditis, restrictive cardiomyopathy, and other causes of elevated diastolic filling pressures and early rapid ventricular filling;
• Identify the appropriate approach to the invasive evaluation of pulmonary hypertension;
• Identify the appropriate approach to the invasive evaluation of aortic valve disease; and
• Recognize when invasive evaluation of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy is needed.
