Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:

• Identify anatomic echocardiographic features of congenital heart disease and surgical procedures used to repair/palliate these defects
• Interpret 2-D echo/Doppler hemodynamics in the setting of congenital heart disease
• Demonstrate basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology of common congenital cardiac conditions and surgical procedures used to correct them
• Recognize limitations of echocardiography
• Utilize up-to-date treatment strategies for congenital heart patients
• Manage pre-natal and pregnant patients based on the echocardiographic exams
• Integrate clinical management and echocardiography in CHD
• Use multimodality imaging tests more effectively
