Learning Objectives
Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:
- Recognize the unique features of heart disease in women as compared to men
- Demonstrate knowledge in the 2011 AHA Guidelines for prevention of heart disease in women
- Describe the association of heart disease with rheumatologic disorders; and identify how to prevent and treat heart disease in this population
- Identify heart disease associated with pregnancy; and demonstrate the evaluation and treatment of pregnancy related heart disease
