Learning Objectives
Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:
- Demonstrate appropriate patient selection for the transradial approach to PCI
- Describe best techniques to attain radial artery access in simple and complex cases
- Describe technical aspects of transradial intervention in the coronary and peripheral circulation, including guide catheter selection and manipulation
- Identify best strategies to prevent, recognize, and treat complications of the transradial approach
- Formulate a plan to build a successful radial program
