This course is a premier educational venue for echocardiography in clinical practice, held collaboratively with the University of Chicago Medical Center. The program is designed to accommodate the evolving needs of inquisitive attendees. Topics covered include fundamentals of cardiovascular ultrasound, basic and advanced hemodynamics, 3-D echocardiography, endocardial/pericardial disease, ischemic heart disease, vascular health, contrast, heart failure, diastolic function, new technologies, and valvular heart disease. At no additional charge, special workshops are available on focused topics of interest to general and specialty participants.
