Diagnostic Imaging Update and Self-Assessment

Mayo Clinic's "Diagnostic Imaging Update and Self-Assessment" will provide the practicing radiologist with a review of state-of-the-art imaging techniques. In addition, course participants will have an opportunity to complete self-assessment modules (SAMs), which are now required by the American Board of Radiology for maintenance of board certification.

7th ANNUAL 2010 EUS Course
August 4 - 7, 2010

This course is designed to provide endsonographers, gastroenterologists, and other health care providers at all levels of experience a comprehensive multidisciplinary review of endoscopic ultrasound. Nationally renowned experts from varying fields, including Gastroenterology, Pancreatology, Hepatology, Surgery (thoracic, abdominal, colorectal), Oncology, Pulmonology, Radiology and Endosonography, will discuss the impact and role of EUS in their practice. A moderator will oversee live case demonstrations and use this opportunity for lively exchange between the faculty and course particpants. A video forum and "EUS Jeopardy Quiz" will be presented with round table discussion. Attendees will also have the opportunity for an "in-The-Room" experience that will facilitate interaciton with the faculty and enhance the overall edeucational experience. Finally, during a hands-on animal lab, the faculty will work closely with attendees to emphasize technical aspects of performing EUS and demonstrate the use of standard equipment and new devices

Cardiology Update in Sedona
August 6 - 8, 2010

There is explosive growth in diagnosis and treatment modalities taking place in the field of cardiovascular disease. This is creating an exciting, but challenging situation for teams taking care of patients with cardiovascular disease. The purpose of this meeting is to provide the needed information distilled in a manner that can be applied to clinical practice. The scope of the program is broad and will cover a wide spectrum of diseases ranging from ischemic heart disease to cardiovascular health. Electrophysiology Review for Boards and Recertification
August 25 - 28, 2010

Mayo Electrophysiology Review Course for Electrophysiology Boards and recertification will provide the cardiologist and electrophysiologist with a comprehensive overview of all aspects of cardiovascular electrophysiology. Well-known experts in each field will give in-depth didactics on state-of-the-art subjects in electrophysiology and device therpay. Each lecture will be followed by or will include multiple question and answer session with an instantaneous electronic response system. Although this course is designed specifically to prepare the electrophysiologist specialist for the Electrophysiology Boards or Recertification, it will also provide the cardiologist or practicing electrophysiologist with an update on the latest knowledge and advances in electrophysiology. The full spectrum of electrophysiology practice will be reviewed, ranging from basic arrhythmia mechanisms and pharmacology, to catheter diagnosis and therapy, and device-based treatments. Additional printed educaitonal material will be made available. There will be special sessions designed specifically for those participants taking the Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Certification Boards and Recertification Boards.

Pediatric Cardiology 2010 Board Review Course

The 2010 Pediatric Cardiology Board Review Course will be a comprehensive, state-ofthe-art review of all aspects of pediatric cardiology.
