Success with Failure: New Strategies for the Evaluation and Treatment of Congestive Heart Failure
August 3 - 6, 2008
UPDATE: July 31, 2008
Dear "Success With Failure" Registrant: As you have probably heard, there has been a large rock slide which has essentially blocked access to Whistler from Vancouver. Alternative routes are time consuming and impractical for our large group. For that reason, we have elected to relocate the meeting to Vancouver. The meeting will be held at The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver and room reservations will be transferred there for everyone currently holding a reservation at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler. This is being handled automatically; you do not need to take any action. Unfortunately, as you can understand, with the short notice and the holiday weekend in Canada, rooms are in short supply. Accordingly there may be a need for some to move between the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver and the Fairmont Waterfront during the course. These hotels are within 4 blocks and the Fairmont hotel system and Mayo CME are working hard to minimize the number of persons inconvenienced.
Despite the obstacles, we're enthusiastic about the opportunity to be in Vancouver and we give you our assurance that the outstanding CME you have come to expect will be delivered. The presentations, speakers, and total CME credits offered will remain unchanged. An updated course schedule will be available at the time of registration.
Should you choose to cancel (and we hope you don't) we will be happy to provide you with a full refund of your course registration fee. Please contact the Fairmont directly (1-800-257-7544) should you choose to cancel your hotel reservation.
Life is an adventure. We look forward to seeing you in Vancouver.
Brooks S. Edwards, MD
Richard J. Rodeheffer, MD
