A
Heritage of Education Excellence
Mayo School of Continuing Medical Education (MSCME) has a distinguished
history of teaching physicians, nurses and other allied health professionals
the latest most advanced medical and surgical practices. Mayo Clinic,
in fact, has been training medical professionals from throughout
the world for more than 100 years.
As early as the 1890s, physicians from throughout the world traveled
to Rochester, Minn., to learn the innovative approaches to medical
practice and surgery developed by Drs. William and Charles Mayo.
The Mayo brothers believed that physicians and scientists should
work together, teach and learn from each other, and conduct research
to advance science and the quality of medical care. Such values
of integration and collaboration for the good of the patient form
the foundation of all Mayo School of Continuing Medical Education
(MSCME) programs.
Mayo educators strive to advance your knowledge and medical skills
to help you provide the best care to your patients. Few academic
institutions offer such vast experience and extensive commitment
to your success.
