The Center for Innovation hires exceptionally talented individuals to join its team of design pioneers working at the intersection of design and medicine. You will be responsible for determining and proposing solutions for issues with significant financial and operational impact to the organization.
The Center for Innovation at Mayo Clinic is the only embedded design group in the world that is integrated into a live clinical practice. The center is always interested in service design strategists (lead designer researchers) in our Center for Innovation Design Studio, in this new discipline for design.
This is a high-intensity, live clinical setting where design and design thinking are used to understand the nature of systemic complexity — tracking, measuring and innovating around the patient and caregiver experience to optimize the potential of the center's staff and innovate in all aspects of care delivery.
