The Biomedical Imaging Resource is dedicated to the advancement of research in the biomedical imaging and visualization sciences. The BIR provides expertise and advanced technology related to biomedical imaging and scientific visualization, including image display, processing and analysis; image data storage and database management; virtual reality; computer programming; computer graphics; computer workstations and networking.
The BIR supports a number of research projects as well as providing valuable research experience for doctoral and post-doctoral students.
