Mayo
Clinic is located in the heart of downtown Rochester, a vibrant
friendly city that provides a highly livable environment for more
than 26,000 Mayo Clinic staff, residents, fellows and students.
Campus activity in Rochester is centered around the Mayo, Gonda,
Plummer and Siebens Medical Education buildings. These interconnected
buildings, together with Rochester Methodist Hospital, comprise
the core of Mayo's clinical practice and education facilities in
downtown Rochester.
Saint Marys Hospital, located three blocks west of the downtown
campus, and Rochester Methodist Hospital are integral to all MSGME
programs, providing essential clinical and inpatient care experiences
for trainees.
The Siebens Medical Education Building, across the street from
the Mayo Building, is home to the Department of Education Services.
The 20-story Guggenheim Building is one of several facilities housing
Mayo's extensive research activities on the Rochester campus.
